It’s the end of January and I’m sure you’ve set goals of what you really want to achieve in 2022. Maybe it’s to find love, or a new career or a healthier body. You’ve set the ball in motion and now hopefully you’ll be taking inspired action to make things happen. You’ve put it out there, you’re clear on what you want, there’s 11 more months of this year, that’s plenty of time to make it happen!
On The Cleopatra Effect Course, I love understanding what my clients are passionate about achieving, what’s the light at the end of the tunnel for them. I love seeing them light up as they explain in detail how they will feel once they get their wish fulfilled, I too get invested in that dream for them.
But, before we go about looking to achieve that goal, and take any action, I always insist on the following 3-step process.
- Step 1: Become aware of why we are where we are, or why haven’t we already achieved that goal.
- Step 2: Remove any blocks that might be sabotaging our progress.
- Step 3: Put in new empowered behaviours and beliefs to attract the goal we want.
This sounds simple but 9/10 times the reason why we struggle to attract what we want is because of step 2, we have blocks in the way. More often than not, my client isn’t even aware of them, which is why having me as their transformational coach, I can guide them to go deeper, it’s as if I’m holding the torch to show them there are in fact blocks in the tunnel, that unless they are removed they will be staying in the tunnel for a long time, getting frustrated, taking one step forward, one step back and ultimately remaining stuck.
I ask you to look at your goal, and ask yourself how long have you wanted this to happen for you? If it’s been over a year, and you were wanting the same goal, this time a year ago, chances are, somewhere deep inside you’re not really ready for it, what you are ready for though, is some inner work to understand why.
